History of Agri-Limb The idea behind Agri-Limb began after James returned home from Alberta after attending Olds College. The degree earned was one of the first of its kind in Canada, incorporated classroom learning and an applied work practicum together into a single degree program. The class room portion was completed in Alberta, and the work practicum Circle G Farms hired him to do business analysis and custom farm work. James learned the ups and downs of custom work and dealing with a wide customer base. When the degree was earned James had the opportunity to return home to the family farm. Murgo Farms is a small family farm that diversifies by farming three hundred acres of land, and operating a grain elevator. Overhanging tree branches had always been a concern to Murgo while farming, and as an observation while bailing on many other farms in the county, it became evident that this was a problem among all crop farmers. With this in mind a lot of research was done and machinery was purchased, basically sight unseen, and modified to remove tree branches along woodlots, and fence lines. Agri-Limb is a separate business from Murgo Farms and continues to operate year round. James still works part time for Circle G Farms and Murgo Farms in a relationship that works well for all parties involved.
